This Privacy Policy explains how Aznet Limited (“Aznet”, “we” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data when you visit aznetauto.com or contact us. We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong (the “Ordinance”).

Who we are

Aznet Limited is a company based in Hong Kong that designs EV technology solutions and sources EV and automotive components. Aznet Limited is the data user responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@aznetauto.com.

Personal data we collect

• Contact and request-for-quote (RFQ) details you provide through our forms: your name, company, email address, phone number, WhatsApp or WeChat ID, and country.
• The content of your message and the details of your request, such as the components, quantities and specifications you are interested in.
• Files you upload, such as drawings or specifications. Please avoid including personal data in these files unless it is necessary.
• Technical data, such as IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited. Strictly necessary data is collected to operate the website; analytics data is collected through cookies only with your consent (see our Cookie Policy).

Providing personal data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide the information marked as required in a form, we may be unable to respond to your enquiry or prepare a quotation.

How we use your personal data

• To respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations.
• To source suppliers for your request: we may share the technical and commercial details of your request with suitable manufacturers or suppliers, limited to what is needed and, where possible, without your contact details.
• To communicate with you about your request and our services, including follow-up on quotations and orders.
• To operate, secure and improve our website.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

Personal Information Collection Statement (summary)

Transfers to service providers

We use trusted service providers to run our website and business, including a cloud hosting provider, an email delivery service, a customer relationship management (CRM) system, a file storage service and, with your consent, analytics services. These providers process personal data on our behalf and may store or process it outside Hong Kong. We take reasonable steps, including contractual measures, to require them to protect personal data and use it only for the services they provide to us. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep enquiry and RFQ data for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you, after which it is deleted or anonymised. We may keep certain records longer where required by law or where needed for an ongoing contract with you, for example records of accepted quotations and orders.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls limited to staff who need the data, checks on uploaded files, and the use of reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to review our measures over time.

Your rights of access and correction

Under the Ordinance you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and to request correction of data that is inaccurate. To make a request, email privacy@aznetauto.com with enough information for us to identify you and the data concerned. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the time required by the Ordinance. A data access request may be subject to a reasonable fee as permitted by law.

Visitors from other jurisdictions

Our website is used by visitors from many places. If you are located outside Hong Kong, you may also have rights under the data protection laws of your jurisdiction, for example Vietnam's Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection, the Personal Data Protection Acts of Singapore and Thailand, the Personal Information Protection Law of mainland China, or the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Withdrawing marketing consent

If you have agreed to receive marketing communications, you may withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge, by using the unsubscribe link in our messages or by emailing privacy@aznetauto.com. We will then stop using your personal data for direct marketing.
