EV Engineering
Battery Systems
Battery pack, module and BMS design with thermal management sized for hot, humid Southeast Asian conditions.
The challenge
The battery is the most expensive and safety-critical part of an EV. Choosing the wrong cell, enclosure or cooling concept leads to range loss, fast degradation and costly redesigns late in a programme.
Our approach
We start from your vehicle duty cycle and packaging space, compare cell chemistries and formats, then design the pack architecture, BMS functions and thermal system together, so that cost, safety and serviceability are balanced from day one. Because we also source components, our designs use cells and parts that can actually be procured at volume.
What we deliver
- Cell selection and benchmarking (LFP, NMC, formats)
- Pack and module mechanical design, CAD and FEA
- BMS architecture, SOC/SOH strategy and functional safety concept
- Thermal simulation and cooling system design
- Test plan for validation and transport (UN 38.3, UN R100)
Frequently asked questions
Can you work with a cell we have already chosen?
Yes. We can review the cell against your requirements and design the pack around it, or propose alternatives if we see a risk.
Do you supply the cells and BMS as well?
Yes. Our procurement team can source cells, BMS and pack components for prototypes and series production.
