EV Engineering
Vehicle Electronics & Software
Vehicle control units, embedded software, CAN networks and telematics that tie the EV together.
The challenge
An EV is a network of controllers from different suppliers. Without a clear electrical architecture and control strategy, integration takes longer, faults are hard to diagnose and over-the-air updates become risky.
Our approach
We define the electrical/electronic architecture and communication matrix, develop or adapt VCU software for torque, energy and charging control, and connect the vehicle to telematics for fleet data and diagnostics.
What we deliver
- E/E architecture and CAN / CAN FD communication matrix
- VCU control strategy and embedded software
- Diagnostics (UDS) and end-of-line test concept
- Telematics, fleet data and OTA update concept
Frequently asked questions
Can you work with our existing controllers?
Yes. We regularly integrate third-party BMS, inverter and charger controllers, and can document or reverse-engineer the communication if needed.
